Jumping is a great way to warm up your muscles before your Pilates mat work. It also builds bone density, releases endorphins, burns calories and helps with lymph drainage. Jump along with me and Joe.
Yes, Vic. Joe Pilates had a circus act with his brother before World War 1. They were moving statues. Dressed like Greek gods they would also head wrestle. They were in Englad when war broke out and put into internment camps on the Isle of Man for 7 years because they were German citizens. That is where Joe worked out a lot of his mat work. I have a good friend who teaches Pilates to members of Cirque de Sollei in Las Vegas.
Great video! You’ve really got a knack for this stuff.
Phew! You wore me out just watching.
Joe trained circus performers???
